Because I like to procrastinate
Ok so I was tagged to do this by Abby! I'll give it a whirl.
The rules are to tag 7 people and then post 10 random things about yourself. Well, I don't know if I know of 7 people to tag, especially since a bunch of them have already been tagged, so I'll tag a few. But here are the 10 random things:
10. I have been craving pastries lately, like danishes and turnovers.
9. There is a crepe restaurant in Lancaster that I *LOVE* and my mom and I like to go there together.
8. I bought a new vacuum yesterday and for the first time in my life I enjoyed vacuuming. We'll see what happens when the novelty of a new vacuum wears off.
7. My car DESPERATELY needs a car wash.
6. We keep our heat set at 60 degrees. It is rewarding to know that since we were willing to cover up with a blanket, we have lower heating bills.
5. I am a TERRIBLE test taker and it seems like in order to finish my post-bacc cert and master's I have to take a gazillion tests, even though my major prides itself on thinking of ways to assess without giving too many tests. :/ Yea right.
4. I love decorating with stars!
3. I love buying new books. To me it is even better than buying new clothes.
2. I love to decorate with dark woods.
1. My husband and I played Mariokart today and yesterday and usually come in first and second when we are playing. We are just that good. ;)
Ok I am going to tag:
Marialena, and Erin

What a historic day. It truly is wonderful. I have been waiting for this day for a long time. Welcome to the White House President Obama!
I had testing all day long, but I finished for lunch around 11:00 and was able to make it to my parents' house with two friends of mine to watch the inauguration. I was so glad to be able to see it. How wonderful.
Hope.

I've been bad! and Rambling Autobiography
I am so sorry that I haven't updated (not that you were sitting by your computers waiting for me to write). Its been a difficult couple of weeks trying to get through something emotionally, but I'm here! And I am going to write more often and they will be INTERESTING posts! I have to keep a "writer's notebook" for one of my classes and I thought that some of the topics I write about would make interesting blog posts and if you want to steal any of my themes go for it!. Today we wrote a "rambling autobiography" and I am going to duplicate it and add on to what I wrote in class. Here goes!
Rambling Autobiography
It was so hot on the day I was born that the case of soda my parents had in their car exploded! The first time I can remember playing in the snow I was playing with a neighbor boy and he threw a HUGE snowball in my face and my mom brought me inside and gave me a bubble bath and made me hot chocolate and cookies. We moved to the house I spent most of my life in when I was 4. The neighbor girl, who lived with her grandmother, made me eat dandelions so I told her that my mom didn't like her grandmother and that I wasn't allowed hanging out with her anymore. Her grandmother confronted my mom. I was once the Queen of Hearts in the play version of Alice in Wonderland. I am deathly afraid of dentists. I started camping when I was 5 weeks old and growing up went camping just about every weekend. By the time I was 17 I had been to every continental US state, plus most of Canada, and Germany. I've now been to 5 different countries outside of the US. I met my husband when I was 17 and married him 6 years later. My parents didn't find out how we met until my bridal shower because they would have killed me if they knew when I was 17, and after that I forgot they didn't know. My great-grandmother died when I was 17 and I miss her terribly. I graduated college the first time not knowing what I wanted to do and that I was destined to be a teacher. I convinced my husband to make a crazy decision once and adopt two puppies and we haven't been sane since. We bought our first house this past summer. I have had 5 surgeries. I went to my first Patriots home game this past summer and it was wonderful! That was the 6th pro-football game I have been to. I will be 25 in July and that number seems too old to consider, even though I know it isn't old. I held a newborn baby yesterday and it hurt my heart and my arms to hold her, but she was so precious and I was so happy for my friend! I could eat chocolate every day of my life and be just happy. I beat two levels in Mariokart last night. My husband brings me home a lemonade every single day.
There we go! That isn't all of my life but it is some fun things and raw things and more about me. Try writing your own! If you do write your own, post a comment and let me know so I can go read yours! And if you want to hear about anything from mine, post a comment and ask and I will write my next blog telling that story or about something. :)
